The local arts community the beauty of dance and the ways in which dance is used to tell a story the appropriate behavior when attending a live performance


With their community at a local venue with local performers. With peers and mentors who perform in the show, (meet the dancers!) With friends and family who share the experience.

By demonstrating appropriate behavior during the performance by sharing their knowledge with others, by learning about local arts venues and groups that they might assist.

How much? $17 per person for groups of 10 or more

Leaders who purchase tickets for the classic Christmas ballet, “The Nutcracker” will be sent a pre-show teaching tool that includes a synopsis of “The Nutcracker” story, photos of the various characters, a lesson in performance etiquette, and information about the composer, the original author of the story, and storytelling in the dance.

“The Nutcracker” is an excellent troop bonding or mother/daughter experience.
